Submit a final high school transcript to the college I am attending

After you've been accepted to a college and decided to attend, the college may require you to submit a final transcript containing your grades for the remainder of the school year.

Submitting your final transcript is a two-step process:

  • Request your final transcript from a high school counselor or other contact.
  • Once the transcript request is complete, specify which college you're planning to attend, and the final transcript will be sent to them.

Requesting your final transcript

1. Log into the Coalition system and navigate to the Overview, Locker, or Colleges page.

2. At the top of the page in the "Have you been accepted..." section, click or tap Request Final Transcript (or, if you plan to send it through other means, select "I'll submit this document separately" and follow those instructions).

3. Enter the name of the contact (for example, your high school counselor) who you want to request the transcript from and click Continue. See this article for more about requesting documents.

4. On the confirmation dialog, confirm the contact is correct, and click or tap Continue. A request is sent to the contact.

5. When you are notified by the Coalition that the request has been completed, follow the instructions below to send the transcript to the college you will attend.

 

Specifying which college should receive your final transcript
1. Log into the Coalition system and navigate to the Overview, Locker, or Colleges page.

The Status of your Final Transcript request must be marked Complete in order to proceed with the following steps.


2. At the top of the page in the "Have you been accepted..." section, click or tap Next.

 

3. Select the college name and term you're planning to attend. Only those colleges you applied to via the Coalition site are listed. If you'll be attending a different college (or not attending college at this time), select "Somewhere else" and follow the instructions to add your college to the list.

4. Click or tap Next.

5. On the Congratulations page:

  • If your college requires a final transcript, click or tap Send My Transcript... () to submit the final transcript that was completed.
  • If your college doesn't require a final transcript, or if you didn't apply through the Coalition site, a message will give you further instructions.
