On the Uploads section of an application, if you receive an error that a file can't be converted to PDF, try the following ways to resolve the problem:
- Make sure you selected "Continue" from the Application Questions before accessing the Uploads page.
- Open the file locally, and re-save it, then try to upload it again.
- If that doesn't work, open the file locally and re-save it as a different file type. We recommend saving it as Rich Text Format (RTF).
- If none of the above work, the file may be corrupt, and we recommend choosing a different file.
Some application uploads (such as Essays and Resumes) must be of a file type that can be converted to PDF (such as Word documents, text documents, and so on). Be sure the file you are uploading is a document.
